How to Record and Submit a new Poem with your Computer

Step 1.
Select an approved poem from the List.
The list contains many poems which are free of copyright infringement, or poems for which we have obtained the appropriate permissions.

Step 2. Record the poem.

You will need a good quality microphone, an audio program and a quiet room.

Microphone: You can purchases a good quality computer microphone from your local electronics store. The microphone has to be plugged into the red or pink input on your computer card.

Audio Program: We recomend you use Audacity - a free open source audio-record program. http://audacity.sourceforge.net/. We will write a tutorial for how to use it shortly, but meanwhile all you should have to do is install the program, click record, and then save the recording as an MP3.

Step 3. Send us the recording.
